1995 M-Edition Miata
After crashing & destroying my STO at
VIR, I went in search of another Miata. The majority of the aftermarket
parts from the STO were salvageable. The rear shocks were the only item
not salvageable. In Spring of 2004, I purchased a slightly used 1995
M-Edition Miata. I spent most of that year transferring everything from
the STO to the Merlot. This is how she looked when I finished (photos
taken in Summer 2007):

A
recent dyno plot with conservative timing on 93 octane pump gas:

Since
taking those photos in Summer of 2007, I've converted the M-Edition into a
dedicated track car for DE. I've removed the soft-top & frame &
have the hardtop on all of the time. I've also removed the A/C & the
power steering pump (which died). Also, since the dyno plot above, the car
has been tuned again & has gained another 6 HP to the wheels. It now
makes a nice 220 rwhp.
