The STO Registry
The Special Touring Option, or STO Edition was Mazda's way of saying, "Good-bye" to the NA (1990-1997) models. (Miata made 1999-2004 have been designated NB & 2005-Present, NC.) The last 1500 production vehicles were painted the same color; had the same color scheme; and had the same standard features from the factory. (Dealer installed options were also available.) Each vehicle was numbered and issued a Certificate of Authenticity & dashplaque (as seen below).
